The Opportunity:
A high-impact national organisation is seeking an experienced regulatory professional to join as Head of Economic Regulation on a fixed-term basis.
You’ll lead a small team and take ownership of the annual price control process, engage with regulators, and support the organisation’s transition from an ex post to ex ante regulatory framework—an important strategic shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual price control submission and regulatory engagement process.
- Provide strategic advice to senior leadership and author high-quality briefing materials.
- Identify and manage regulatory risks and stakeholder engagement.
- Support the transition to a new ex ante price control regime.
- Contribute to the development of future regulatory business plans.
About You:
- Strong background in economic regulation and price controls.
- Experience influencing at senior levels and working across complex stakeholder environments.
- Skilled communicator with the ability to simplify complex issues.
- Proven leadership and ability to deliver in regulated sectors.
